STUCK

I hate being afloat... hovering through life. I just miss the passionate Cha. The Cha who is so certain with the things she loves to do, the Cha who knows what is it that she wants and go after it. The Cha who designs, sketches, climb, play, be the adventurous person she can be.

Now, Cha is worried. She can't even define things in her life. Fears are starting to build up, slowly suffocating her. She is just doing things for the sake of getting it done. Not excelling, just trying to finish it. Cha is trying to fight back, trying to give meanings with the things going on with her. She just misses the Cha who wrote passionately in her journal with words of praises, of emotions, of certainty.

She is clamoring for more.

Fixated Inventors

Well, I've been getting Filipino Inventors to join one of the shows that I'm handling. And menh, ang hirap nilang kausapin. Most of them are old and quite makulit. But I patiently (?) call them for feedbacks.

I blurted to my boss: "Sir, ang hirap nilang kausapin eh!". Then he answered, "You know why? Because they are so fixated in creating something that is not originally there". A ratio of 1:100... Only 1 inventor succeeds from 100 struggling inventors. If they do become successful, malamang di ko na sila makakausap like Bill Gates. The Inventors that I'm contacting are the ones who are still in pursuit of discovering or even harnessing the things they've discovered. They don't have enough funding from the government (whew! what else to expect). That explains why even at a low cost, they still want to be sure what they're getting at.
I'm caught by the word fixated. And I imagined myself being fixated/obsessed/focused on something. If I'll be an inventor, I'll be fixated on:
1. Transport Zoooom: this is a personalized channel that connects you from your origin to desired point of destination. Hay, para hindi ko na maranasan ang traffic dito.
2. Windang Clothing Line: Clothes made from fabric that goes with the weather. In a day, we can experience extreme heat and coldness... So minsan di mo na alam isusuot mo. With these clothes, the fabric automatically makes you cold when it's hot, and warm when it's cold. :)
3. Wait... marami pa akong gustong inventions... but no time to type already... with this, Read Type Me: the computer automatically detects your train of thoughts and starts typing.
..................................
ay walang nagtytype... Sheeeesh.... I should really be a fixated inventor... ;)

Wagas na Pag-Ibig

Wagas na Pag-ibig: A Fairy Tale

Once upon a time in a near land... there lived a princess whom everyone adored. Her name is Sinde...

Princess Sinde is sooo cute that every prince would come to her hut... Offering her jewelries from Divisoria, clothes made from China, shoes from Korea. BUT her heart longs for something. She longs for it badly that it made her sleep. Her army of dwarves search every corner of the kingdom to find the magic gasera that will wake her. But they searched in vain. Losing all hope, the dwarves joined the touring circus leaving Princess Sinde behind. As time went by, Princess Sinde still sleep so serenely.

Then Prince Pirate from the other side of Quiapo is running away from the wicked step-momMMDA. He passed by Princess Sinde's hut, shouting fast "Debede Debede Debede"... with those magic words, Princess Sinde suddenly woke up... rushed to the door and shouted "Debede Debede Debede"...

With interlocking eyes, they ran towards each other, shared a passionate embrace, a sweet kiss, a happily ever after...

A Letter to the Future

As humans, we have the capacity to think ahead and think back.
As I write to the Future cha, I felt really nervous... I will be receiving my letter to my future self on Januray 29, 2016. Yup! That will be my 30th birthday. (waaw! how scary that seems to be from now). There are so many things I want to tell Cha at 30... Thus the incoherency of my letter... I jump from one idea to the other...
Well, I just hope that when I do receive it, I will be at a very good mood as I turn 30. Why did I choose that??? Because at the big three-O, people are at a crossroad. People mostly try hanging on to what was left of their youth (as they face a scary "old" life) and slowly accepting that they are now in a different ball game.
As humans, we have the capacity to think ahead and think back. ~I am sending a letter to the future cha... and by the time I received it, I will be looking back to the day I wrote it.

Happy writing to your future self!!!

Dance Moves

I was with my family last Sunday. We were happily eating lunch at Gilligan’s then my nephew and niece started dancing. Ezboy, my uber hyper nephew did this unique dance move. We asked what it was called. His answer: “Swimming!” haha May swimming dance move din siya and I promise myself I will copy that the next time we hit the dance floor. It is different from my “Freestyle” dance move though.

Other dance moves worth mentioning:

Laba-Laba dance move by Ms. Katrina Pedregosa. This dance move inspired me to also make my Luto-luto, Linis-linis and Palengke moves (imagine doing those and just add a spice to make the groove).
Nahihiya ako dance move by Ms. Jean Barcena. It was unveiled to me during her beeday celeb. Nice one! Cuteness with all the shy shoulders, hair moves.
American dance move by Mr. Ram de Jesus. And the only dance I’ve seen him do, hard to explain hehe
Pagmasikip Dance Move by Keysi Camposuelo. This move truly maximizes your time on a crowded dance floor. Taas mo lang kamay mo… then let your fingers do the dancing

Pilay lock Dance Move by Ms. Vida Joan Gumera. A mix of shoulder locks and drag the foot move. Priceless din ang look ni vida while doing this.

*Yikes kasi pag puro nalang sexy moves. Ikaw, ano ang cool dance move mo???

The Passion of Ashley

She came to life from pages… Her words echoed into our hearts. She was timeless as her name is forever intertwined into the lives of others whose lifetime sparked and became part of the eternal flame.

As Louie Giglio read from the pages of Ashley’s journal, she came into being. As her story was read from her own writing, we became a part of her life. And she became a reflection of mine. See link : (http://268generation.com/blog/page/3/)

That night, I was one with thousands of Filipinos who stormed Ultra amidst the pouring rain and heavy traffic. Before this event, a friend of mine didn’t push through with her plans of joining us because of certain reasons. What struck me was the idea that the Passion event will just be about emotional highs due to the crowd, music etc… I silently agree with her as doubts crept in for what my real motives were for attending this event. But I went on, with the hope that HE will guide me through this and yet again HE didn’t fail me.

The Passion World Tour @ Manila is a testimony of God’s growing kingdom here in thePhilippines. A testimony of God’s faithfulness… of God’s loving grace… that is at work not just in one part of the globe but is happening contagiously around the world (see 268generation.blog).

And Ashley’s story is one of the many stories of believers who have made a difference by accepting Christ in their lives and living that faith as a testimony of God’s love and grace. It doesn’t matter how short lived her testimony was, what mattered was its truthfulness. That night, we were all reminded how our lives can be used for His glory. I do hope that as I blog about my life (whether through my happy, sad, battered, boring, exciting state), I let you, dear reader, think about a few or a whole lot of things (depending on how much you want to think about :D).

Mighty To Save

By Hillsong Australia

Everyone needs compassion
A love that's never failing
Let mercy fall on me
Everyone needs forgiveness

The kindness of a Savior
The hope of nations

My Savior
He can move the mountains
My God is Mighty to save
He is Mighty to save
Forever
Author of salvation
He rose and conquered the grave
Jesus conquered the grave

So take me as You find me
All my fears and failures
And fill my life again
I give my life to follow
Everything I believe in
Now I surrender

Shine your light and let the whole world see
We're singing for the glory of the risen King...Jesus

**He indeed took me as He found me, lovingly embrace all of me. And now I pray, He'll take this life of mine for His eternal glory.
